BlackRidgeBANK Expands Into Minnesota
BlackRidge Financial announced that two of its affiliate banks in Minnesota became BlackRidgeBANK, effective October 1, 2011, joining the existing BlackRidgeBANK locations in Fargo and Bismarck.
Since 2006, BlackRidge Financial has owned Lakewood Bank (locations in Baxter/Brainerd, Crosslake and Nisswa) and First State Bank of Alexandria (locations in Alexandria, Carlos and Miltona). All banks are being given a common name for added convenience and name recognition.

BlackRidge Centralizes Operations and Technology
BlackRidge has formed a centralized Operations and Technology Center under the direction of Vice President Sue Mortenson. Supporting all BlackRidge affiliates from Nisswa, MN, the BROC manages the IT infrastructure and back-office functions of BlackRidge-affiliated banks.
BlackRidge Financial Forms BlackRidge Leasing
BlackRidge Financial, Inc., headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, announced the formation of BlackRidge Leasing and the hiring of Ernie Gilbertson as President of BlackRidge Leasing. Gilbertson is a graduate of Valley City State University and has more than 25 years experience in the leasing industry.
He will oversee all aspects of BlackRidge Leasing, which will concentrate on leasing equipment and vehicles to commercial, industrial and agricultural customers, specializing in TRAC leases.
BlackRidge Leasing will be headquartered at the BlackRidge Financial offices at 4612 Amber Valley Parkway in Fargo.
